flash - there's a few of us meeting up at Long Preston on the A65 if you're interested?
Meetup cars include two Supras, a GT-four or two, MX5 and a couple of others.
Your TVR would be a good addition. ;-)

Could be the beginings of a plan. Can we have some timings for the rendevous points?

well tis an excuse to drive down the 682 to see how long it takes. (i seem to remember from going to Giggleswick/settle last summer theres a layby to the right of the A65 (as you head southwards) just before you enter Long Preston with a porter cabin truckers diner that we can do the meet up at there...

---> AJI - any idea what time you'll be heading down?

dont think it'll take more than 3/4hr to get bacup/long preston - tis only about 30 miles

I know the lay-by in question..... plenty of space for numerous cars and a perfect meet point.
I was planning on heading down around mid-day ish. Is that a decent time?
So I guess 12:00(mid-day) at the layby? Nice round number.

p.s.
this event still will be determined by the weather for me I must point out.
If it's pi$$ing down then the probability is that there won't be all that much to see at the show.
But it will have to be a proper bad prediction before I decide not to go. A bit of rain is no put off for us northerners ;-)

There are some roadworks at Gargrave ATM, but shouldn't hold us up too much.
