It might be worth giving Ian at Middlewich a try, since Neill's flog Lotuses, and he used to work there, he may well have knowledge of the cars.

or there is always Albert who specialises in Lotus near Blackburn, see norlog.net, plenty of posts.

Can you get across to Birkenhead?

Do a Google search on PNM Engineering.

He did the cambelt and valve timing on my Esprit and was excellent.

He is a bit of a one man band, but don't be put off by his scruffy little unit or the fact that he is sometimes a bit hard to get hold of.

The fact that he is so incredibly busy speaks volumes.

I went to Albert for an A service and his prices are very reasonable and he's a very helpful man. I drove all the way from Widnes and it still cost me less than the main dealer would have charged.
