air bnb Liverpool

Hi All,

I'm visiting Liverpool later in the year and I'm looking at an air bnb rather than a hotel as i have to bring my elderly dog.
I know nothing about the city or areas - can anyone tell me where not arrange an air bnb ? bad areas etc. I have a gig to go to at the comedy club Blackstock market so any area relatively close to there would be great.

there are loads of apartments in the city centre. You won't go far wrong.
