I'm due to start a new job, which is hybrid working and probably means a couple of days a week back in manchester city centre, which is fine. I live fairly far out, and where public transport is more of a faff. I haven't ruled that out, but i know what i am doing of I need to go that way. However, if I were to drive, and my offices were around St Peter's Square, what is a top parking tip that won't break the bank but also is PH friendly i.e. won't get my car stolen or damaged, maybe decent size spaces etc. I've seen Q park nearby but it's £29 a day! When I worked in CIS tower I was paying about a fiver a day smile so, what are you parking hack tips please?! cheers

I know most the NCP’s are around the £25-30 a day. Would it be too much of a faff to drive to a local station and park there, then jump on a train for the last 10-20 mins? My local station is free parking all day for rail users.
Not sure I’d want to pay £60 a week for parking.

I used RCP Parking Silvercroft M15 4AY for a while earlier this year with no issues. Its £7.50 a day and patrolled by security staff, St Peters Square is a 15 ish minute walk away.

I mean it would probably. It would take longer, have more points of problems along the way, and parking might be £5 for the day, but then I'd have I'm assuming £10 travel ticket. If I could find a parking option for similar cost, £15, then I'd far sooner drive. I'd probably be happy to pay slightly more to drive.

nice one that's idea really. Exactly the sort of thing I was after. I'd be pretty happy to stretch the legs.

Most ncp do an early bird if you get there before 9am it’s £7 for the day.

I park at picadilly place, it’s not an ncp but has the early bird pricing it’s a RingGo car park never had any issues there.
