Driver training around Manchester/Stockport/Cheshire
Discussion
After a few years of MX-5 ownership (I know, I know, not a high-powered AMG or M-Division car, I'm building up to being a powerfully built director) I'm looking to build up my driving skills, partly out of fear of a combination of RWD and the impending winter.
Does anyone have any recommendations for advanced driver training providers or skidpans? Really I'm looking for an opportunity to safely find the limits of my car and for a bit of expert advice/feedback, as well as some hands-on training for avoiding and controlling slides.
Any ideas?

Reg Local is your man. Based in the NW. I did contact him previously, just not had the time to go out with him. Posts in the advance driving forum. Will see if I can find him now (search function on here is dire).

I've watched some of his YouTube videos and they're really helpful, didn't realise he was based in this neck of the woods.
