Jees! How long to try and find the date!
Had a blast at the last one (literally!!!) and could have found myself a nice wealthy VERY OLD husband there!

Unfortunately doubtful that I can make it

I usually go to this with my Dad but I have a feeling I won't be around for it this year, sorry!

Last time we went we ended up parking next to a red DeLorean (the only one - other than one-off red, yellow, black and gold ones they were all silver steel) in the car park, and my Dad had to re-slot the car when he realised that the driver wouldn't be able to get back in the DeLorean as there was no space to swing the door up

I was there !!

In fact I'm thinking of hiring the rolling road sometime in the next couple of months, so if any of you fancied it, would be good to get a selection of cars on it.

...except for the guy who's kids were mauling my car. I 'removed' one of his ice cream covered sprogs of the car and his dad nearly took a swing at me for 'touching' his kid. I in turn nearly took a swing at him for letting his kids touch the car in the first place. Neither he or his siblings could obvioulsy read/obey a polite 'please don't touch' sign.

Good job the weather was good on Sunday. Kinda made up for the torrential conditions of Saturday!

I've been coming on Gassing for a while but just registered so this seems a good a time as any to make my first post so hello!

I was at Tatton on the Saturday and saw the orange exige on the rolling road...I'd be interested to know what figures it made if anyone knows.

I also saw the cobra (rep?) that was in the little gazebo thingy at the entrance to the show being unloaded from it's trailer and a load of kids got up onto the side of the trailer and put their hands all over the car whilst peering inside it! Needless to say the owner was not impressed!

It made 160-odd bhp which was a bit disappointing as it has a JDM Honda conversion and should be running 220+. Off for a re-map this week.

I'm sure if I arrange to hire the rolling road it'll be there again to measure the improvement.

...should be a nice improvement with better mapping then! I certainly cringed when the front splitter/bodywork scraped all the way down the ramps as it reversed off the rr. Do you know what the maximum output a portable rolling road like that could handle?
