Classic car and bike meet at the Junction Pub at Rainford on April 14th .., 9am.

New meet started recently, apparently, large hardstanding, field , bacon butties, coffee etc..
Pre 1995 is the general rule but anything interesting close to that is ok...!!!!!

Haven't been yet but if weather good on Sunday 14th will take a run over to check it out.

Although I didn't stay all morning, some great cars had arrived before I left.

Great photos !

Had a really good morning out, catching up with folk and chewing the fat whilst tyre kicking !

Bit chilly in that corner of Lancs ! Coffee sadly lacking due to a bit of disorganised catering and big queues, missed opportunity really.

Going again next month though as it looks to have the makings of a good meet. !

I’ve been told that there is also a VW meet at this venue. Does anyone know if this is correct.

Just noticed that A Team van in one of the above photos; is that an authentic looking replica or just a lookalike?. I ask because ive heard theres only one authentic looking A Team van in the UK. I recall somewhere reading about a chap in the UK going to the states to buy all the original parts to build a perfect copy of the van used in the series. There cant be many of them in the UK. I remember seeing an A Team van in front of Haigh Hall some years ago, probably a wedding going on at the time.

Yep, turned up there about 9.45 after a good blat around the country lanes !!

Fairly busy but not packed like the Cornerhouse is usually.

Some good stuff there including a Reliant Kitten powered by an R1 motor, ....with nitrous!!!

Not sure if it will be on again now after the "rule of six" came into effect, still can't get my head around all these so called rules....

Will knock out some pics when I get a chance .
