CornerHouse Pub at Wrightington, Nr Parbold Lancs
restart of the season, this meeting just gets more popular every month, 1st Sunday of the month 8.00 till about 11.30am

Glad to hear it's still on. Looks like it's starting earlier and earlier looking at the 8am time. Hope it's a good turnout with some interesting motors. Hope the weather stays dry.

Tends to cars and bikes from the 50's through to 2000 ish but there is some stuff newer and older than that turns up too.

British, American, Italian, and others, obscure and common ish turn up, a great mix usually.

What there is NOT is chavmobiles, baseball caps or rev happy speed limiter freaks... eek

In the group tomorrow from the local contingent will be;

RV8
Stag
Skyline
GT6
Vitesse
TVR Chimaera 400 x 2 possibly 3
S2000
TVR Vixen
TVR Chimaera 450
Daimler Dart hopefully and possibly x 2 !
Some fast fords, XR2, XR3, XR3i,

Motorcycles too but not huge amount but interesting nevertheless.

Other stuff that turns up includes, US Chevy, Pontiac, Jags, Morgans, big variety of those, a Savage Corrtina, MG by the bucket load, Mini of all eras,, Triumph Tr4, 6 ,7 etc, Porche, old and new and loads more.

You get the idea anyway !!

Great meet - realy good mix of metal, and we didn’t feel excluded for being in something more modern.

Great turnout yesterday, loads of different stuff yet again !
As you say nobody sniffed at moderns like the 19 plate Aston !!!
Three Ferrari as well old and new.

Had a look on the Facebook page and I noticed in the recent uploads there was a photo of a few classics (incl a silver AC Cobra) parked up near what looks like St Georges Hall in Liverpool, taken on a sunny day. Anyone know when this was on as I hadn't heard about it?.

Indeed. I’ll bet the original is more fun - but I also know which one I’d rather drive to Bristol in.

Had three “new” MINI’s, but never driven an original mini - need to address that at some point!
