Carpet fitting-North West

I have a 54 plate Honda S2000 that I bought last July. All good except for a musty smell I can’t totally shift. Replacing the hood greatly improved things and I am now looking to renew carpets. Are there any places that will do a carpet refit in the North West. I have had a quote for £700 that feels totally excessive, so looking for a quality job, at a slightly better price. Welcome thoughts and thanks....

A quote of 700 to supply? Or supply and fit?
Presuming you are fitting yourself then try ambassador car mats at Standish, they do all sorts of mats and maybe can do carpets from your originals. After all they are just big mats !
I have had a number of mats / carpet pieces made there over the years for all sorts of cars.
Even had a bespoke one made to cover the entire back of a Honda aerodeck with all seats down...if George is still there have a chat to him.

Can't you just remove the seats and give it a good wet/dry clean? Take a mornings worth of your own time.

Thanks guys. Seats have been out andcarpets thoroughly cleaned, aired and dried. Better but not fully sorted. The £700 quote is for replacement carpets to be tailor made for the car, fitted, seats removed and replaced. On balance I will have another go with cleaning again, and then go for the replacement option (I am sure there is some negotiating room!)
