Hi, am relatively new to the board, having found it when I used it to sell a Noble 3R for a friend living abroad. A great read !

What I am not clear about though, are there are many meets around the NW area that are for general performance cars, as opposed to just TVR's or one make etc.

Thanks.

Welcome to the region.

The Romper meets are for anyone with anything.

Lot more informal than say the TVRCC meet. Next one is whenever somebody fancies it and proposes a date/idea.

How about Sunday 23rd June 1955, imagine the fun we could have flashing past all the Ford Populars and Standard Vanguards. Outrunning the bib as they give chase in their Wolseley police cars with the bells ringing. No scameras either. Folks would be amazaed at the sight, not least because the cars will not be all black. I dont think the usual start and finish point will be there though.

I have a friend who has just bought an AC Cobra replica.

You can bet that I'll be trying to get him along to the next meet
