Late Spring Blast

The basic infomation is Saturday 28th May meet M6 Jct16, drive out to Llangollen, World's End, Horse-Shoe Pass, meal @ 1900 at The Boat (www.theboatinn.co.uk)

Sunday, early drive out to either Pen-y-pass (is there is still parking by the time we arrive) or Llanberis, climb up Snowdon, climb down Snowdon, drive back.

I was going to take the Ginetta but being as it's country lanes and I'll happily take any opportunity to embarrass drivers of RWD horsepower laden fanny magnets i'm going to take the mini

I've been over the Llanberis pass before and the scenery is absolutely beautiful, except one part of the lake which has a power station built into the side of it and some of the roads are only just wide enough for the mini to squeeze down let alone a tivver

thats bank hol weekend , 4 minis off to Abersoch camping , Horseshoe pass is that near Ruthin ? if so thats our route B4 we get to the twisty mtn roads

dont know whether we can join in we ll be on strict schedulin ( tents up nd in t pub by 4) but thats our route. fingers crossed .

It's pencilled in - may do only half of it as may stop over in Llangollen for the night and stay with my best mate there.

Excellent response guys, if you could add your name to the list on the Midlands forum, i'm going to be confirming the booking relatively shortly for the meal ie this week, also if you need to be put up for the night, chez moi, let me know, i think all the beds are now taken, but there's plenty of room to kip on floors and sofas, or even tents if you want to do a proatice for Le Mans!!
