Brilliant turnout, been a few months since it was last so packed that it was impossible to leave the carpark until at least half a dozen cars had moved out of your way!!
A *Ford GT40* looked a really well put together car and a few Ferrari graced the line up, Porches and Jaguar lining up beside Minis and a Cavalier ! Half a dozen TVR , Lotus Cortina, Morgans, MG, and others, made for a really interesting three hours.
Shame about the bacon butties doing a runner ! , They were great along with coffee in what turned out to be a pretty chilly morning with weak sunshine an occasional warmer.
Next meet is New Years Day and if it's like previous years it will be packed too. !

Sounds like there were some pretty unusual and interesting motors, particularly the Ford GT40 (a replica I assume) amongst the commonly seen Morgan's, E-Types, MGBs, etc. One car I rarely ever see make a show the times I've been to this meet is a Scimitar (the GTE that is), and despite the fact they are quite a popular (and very affordable) classic (surely there must be plenty around the area) I haven't seen that many - I think 3 I've seen in total, and one was owned by the chap who lived in the big barn style house opposite the Corner House.

I believe there was a chap who came to the meet last year I heard had a couple of Scimitars (though no idea which models), though I don't think he turned up on this particular day in any of them. There's been a cream/brown GTE 6a with a cream bonnet I've sen a few times there that I've seen at other local shows, Ormskirk Motorfest etc.
Thought this was a very nice 5a I saw there a few years ago. Can't recall ever seeing it since. Thought the interior was immaculate. No doubt well looked after.
