The second one I live near (for nearly 20 years) and have never known of an accident on that stretch.
There is a high school closeish.

Errwood Rd, Burnage = big chav run for nicked cars and the boy racers.
There's also one on A34 southbound outside the extension being built onto the MRI just before the traffic lights junction with Hathersage Rd. There are no markings on the road as yet though. It looks slightly fake but i've not had time to check it out properly yet.
