I know I've already asked on the main board, and kindly got some pointers off people - but just wondering if anyone has any more suggestions for a rolling road dyno round here that will take up to 400 bhp?

Many ta's

Rolling road?

Phew...thought it was me being pissed

Sorry Vette dude - seems no-one has any local experience.

Back to letting your fingers do the walking. Mind you I got slapped for that once so be careful out there!

...strange innit? My engine guy's road only copes with 200, and on paper we're generating 330-345. But what it'll translate to at the wheel....? Also it'd help with the tuning. Ah well.

Well..... if you put it on the road - power up and then dip the clutch - you will find the amount of power lost in the transmision (the momentary drop before friction nicks all the power). Thats the theory. But a 200 pony system isn't going to like you.

We may be going back to Holeshot Racing for another round on the dyno if you dare come over the hill to YORKSHIRE.

www.holeshotracing.co.uk it's only a few minutes form the top of the M606 into Bradford so pretty easy from manchester.

If anyone is interested, please contribute to this thread.

You tried Ric Woods Racing just outside Stockport? Should be able to find his address/tel on net. If you're struggling give us a shout. Don't know if his road does 400bhp but one can but ask.

Ric rebuilt my engine.....his rolling road can't cope. His 'bench' engine dyno is the dogs (and no more need to run in), but my engine ain't coming out again!!!!
