Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Show this Bank Holiday Monday
Discussion
This event got rained off last year, but regulars say it's a nice family event with a good mix of vintage, classic, and sports cars.
Assuming no brollies required, I'm going to bimble over in the Ferrari Speciale and show my support.
I believe there is an admission charge, but the ticket provides access to the House and grounds, and it keeps 'is Lordship in Sherry for the next twelve months...long live the Aristocracy!!

I was going, but didn't send in for a pass early enough. Might go to the "youngtimer" event on the late bank holiday weekend as I've not been to Gawsworth for a couple of years (rained off as you said last year, and forgot again the year before) and it's a nice venue if the weather is decent.

Nice Photos, thanks for posting. Some tasty stuff there. Not been to this for a few years, but was always a good show...weather permitting.
Looks like the weather will be OK for Monday, so might give the Youngtimer a try.
It's my era, I find mint 80s timewarp cars more interesting to see than the usual rows of 60s British sports cars you get at a lot of events. I was blown away the first time I was taken home from school in a mates' dad's 911 Turbo and I knew one day I had to have a Porsche, but I like seeing cars such as the Metros my father used to bring back from his job at the local BL dealer, just because the really mint original ones are far rarer than the Porsche now.
Hopefully the weather will hold up and there'll be an interesting turn out.
