I would like to hire a Shelby GT500 'Eleanor', as close to the North West as possible to save on mileage and transportation costs.

There was one which did turn up at Crispy cream meeting a couple of years ago but I dont know if that was a repo or a legit one, as I was in my 2007 GT500 at the time and didnt pay much attention. Only truely legit I know of were the ones were at the MOCGB meets down south.

Thanks. I have been to that meet a few times but not that far back. There is somebody with one in the Manchester area but they cannot commit to a booking at the moment from what I have been told. If it looks right, that should be enough! There was one from Gone In 60 Seconds in the UK but it was bought and sent abroad :-(

I think Oliver Webb, the professional racing driver for BAC cars, has an original which he has recently brought to C&C Liverpool (next one on 19th March).

I'm sure it's his private car, but perhaps you might want to talk to him...

Hi, sorry for the delayed response but yes he does have one. A friend of mine asked him a few weeks ago but his job clashes with our wedding I think.
