Car Collection/Delivery

Hi Guys

Have won a car on ebay but it's a good 250 miles away, a friend has a recovery truck but he doesn't do any long distance any more. Could anyone recommend someone? It's just a 2010 mini one, undamaged but non runner. Needs collecting from Faversham and delivering to Manchester.

Have seen these online sites where you get a quote emailed but would rather use someone known to be honest

There's a guy I've used a few of times for local stuff. Don't know if he does longer distances but I'll post up contact details tomorrow (they're at work)

i have used shiply.com for moving cars about like this, every person who quotes will have a feedback thing like ebay so you can find a good person to use

That's what I did in the end, Read the feedback and chose who I thought was best, rather than the cheapest.

Fella was great, kept me updated via phone, paid the balance via bank transfer once he had dropped the car off. Dead easy and no more expensive than it would've been to do it myself, with the added bonus of not having to spend half my weekend on collecting it!
