Southport Pleasureland Supercar Sunday 14.08.2016
Discussion
The second "Supercar Sunday" will take place this Sunday at Southport Pleasureland Arena, Marine Drive, Southport, PR8 1RX, from 11am.
Access is through the car park gate next to the RNLI Lifeboat / Coastguard building opposite the Dunes Splashworld overflow car park.
It's a small relaxed gathering with a fair mix of cars run by a couple of very enthusiastic lads who work at Southport Pleasureland.
The event is free, and it's a good excuse to sneak off for a wander around the fair ground or on to the beach.
Come and give your support!

This is only the second event. The first attracted 50+ cars over the day, and there was a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but there was a good mix of cars.
Entry is free to exhibitors (normal car parking is around £6), the entrance to the Arena is a bit confusing: go through the car park gate next to the RNLI Lifeboat / Coastguard building opposite the Dunes Splashworld overflow car park, drive down to the bottom of the gravel car park, and the Arena is a grassed field next to Pleasureland.
Cars can arrive from 10:30, starts around 11am...

It was a good turn out with a nice selection of cars. My only complaint is it was too noisy with too much bouncing off the rev limiter. My fear is if that continues it will push away the exotic cars and just attract the big exhaust brigade. A quick blip on arrival is one thing but to sit on full throttle revving is another. Just my opinion and what do I know
