Hello.

I'm a long time lurker, first time poster with a typically mundane query.

I've got a Mk 6 golf. I've managed to clobber the sill on a wooden post and damage it inwards, does anyone have any great body shop recommendations to get it repaired? Somewhere in Chester / Deeside / Ellesmere Port.

Clearly every garage internet site claims to be the best, so I'd really appreciate some recommendations if anyone can help?

Thanks in advance!

It's funny you should ask. I've a Fiat 500 and the cill is pushed in where I jacked it up and I'm wondering the same (and I too would be looking around Chester / Ellesmere Port).

Aha, at least im not alone I guess? This is proving a challenge, I don't really want to take it to Volkswagen who'll charge the earth, and Howard Basford in Ellesmere Port aren't taking on any external work. Someone recommended a body shop in Birkenhead, but that's not feasible to either get up there to see them or leave the car there. So I was hoping for something closer to home, please let me know if you hear of anywhere? I'm struggling a bit! Theres Spraycraft in Queensferry as a possible, but I don't know anyone who's actually been there!
