Following a healthy turnout last Sunday 27th April 2014 at the Moorfield Arms,
the fledgling High Peak Regional TVRCC are holding the next meet on Wed 28th May 2014 at the Snake Pass Inn, Bamford,I S33 0BJ at 6:30pm.

All are welcome, not just TVR s, come along and show us your pride & joy.
On Sunday we had a beautiful Ferrari disguised as an MR-2, a Transit Vixen Connect, a very nice pair of Teutonic Griffith offerings ( a Beetle & a Beemer ) as well as a selection of more mundane TVR stuff ( Taimar, 2.5 M, Cerb, T350t, a beautiful 400SE Wedge, a Chimaera, an S1, a Griff Jag lookalike, & so on, you get the picture, all a bit boring really wink
So let's try make the next meet a bit more exciting with your hot metal, be it a Maybach or a Mexico, a Tuk-tuk or a Trabant. Show us wot you've got!
( I always carry a fire extinguisher, just in case the extreme ironing gets out of hand. )

The intention is to have regular meets at weekend afternoons, and weekday evenings, at varying venues throughout the High Peak area.
Come along, don't be shy, and give us your input as to what & where you would like to see/do/go!
See the main post on 'TVR Events & Meetings' here on the PH TVR forum.

You'll only regret it if you don't go.......

Looking forward to meeting you! thumbup

As long as the weather is OK and I remember I might come over in my Fury kit car.

Hi Glen, unfortunately I got rid of my road going TVR Tuscan 2 just 2 weeks ago after a 9 year love affair (although I still have my Tuscan Challenge race car). I'm in Glossop so a quick blat over the snake in the replacement is of interest wink I assume a DB9 would be welcome?

I'm planning on heading over from Glossop, leaving about 6 with a mate... but it's weather dependent and the forecast isn't looking good frown

Well, as the first two meets have been well attended and well received smile we will now be making this a regular thing, but with a different venue each month to keep it interesting & available to all in the High Peak area at some time or other.

The plan in future is to alternate between the last wednesday evening, and the last Sunday afternoon each month.

The next meet is a special treat, retracing the course of an exciting road racing circuit that almost happened, but was cancelled in the aftermath of the Le Mans tragedy back in the 50's
Google "Parsley Hay Peak District Motor Racing Circuit" and have a read. coffee

Meet at 12:30pm on Sunday 29th June 2014 at the first layby out of Whaley Bridge on the A5004 road to Buxton ( Long Hill )
Map & history will be available.

Lunch stop will be approx 14:00hrs at the Pack Horse Inn, Crowdecote, SK17 0DB

A few more details can be found on the TVR Events & Meetings forum here on PH, and on the TVRCC Regional forum.

All are welcome, even DB9' s wink
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Hope the weather is kind.

P.S. The main straight has a 50mph limit nowadays...... frown
