What's the odds that the secret checkpoint in the South East of England is the Top Gear track so they can get some lap times?

Might go over to the Manchester event for a nosey, should be some interesting sights....

wijit, Mrs wijit, mini wijit and possibly sister of wijit will be there. I've had a heads up about some of the cars so it should be an amazing day. As usual, feel free to say hello to the chap with yhe handlebar 'tache!

Thanks for the reminder about this Danny thumbup Does anyone know anything about the parking situation there? I sort of have an idea of what they do on matchdays, but do they only open up all that parking space on matchdays only?

I quite fancy a jaunt over from Leeds on Sunday.
Does anyone know the parking situation at the Etihad, or is there anywhere within 10 mins walking distance of the stadium with free Sunday parking?
Should be a good day! smile

There are plenty of places nearby to park, including Asda just across the road.
The Gumball cars, as far as I understand, will park where the players park which is just to the left of the road leading into the stadium itself.

its only a 15-20mins walk from manchester so should be able to find parking between there and manchester with not too much walking

All together, at a set time do you know? The cars/teams always seem to be quite spread out, and although it isn't a 'race', people want to finish the rally first.

The times are quite loose. They have set 12:00 to 17:00 for arrivals but as they are due in London 12:00 to 23:00 I would think the more competitive will get there early and possibly miss lunch. Just check in and set off for London.
