My wife has promised we would drop our daughter and friend off at the Phones 4 You Arena on Sunday March 4th. We have about 3 hours to kill. Whilst they see erm Macbusted I think.

Any ideas ? I don't really know Manchester well. (If I was in Liverpool, I'd go into china town and have a meal)

There's a Chinatown in Manchester.

You could have a whizz on the wheel, not that it will kill 3 hours of course !

If you fancy a Thai meal.....then would highly recommend "Try Thai" in Faulkner Street in China town. Best Thai that we've found in Manchester.

Manchester 235 casino for a flutter?

There is always the french restaurant at the Midland hotel. It was the meeting place for Rolls and Royce in 1904

El Rincon is an excellent Spanish place at the other end of Deansgate.

In the end, they got the train there, and I picked them up at 10:30 pm and then got into what can only be described as the rush hour from Hell.

Getting out of Manchester was a PITA, and when I eventually got back onto the M62, found that there was roadworks that took it down to 1 lane.

Eventually got home at 12:15.

Then got up for work at 5 am.

Knackered.
