Roadsweeper spotted........... by me Dad!

Today, Roadsweeper, you met an old man in a Merc (possibly silver S class of the bombproof engineering variety, not the latest mk) whom was returning to said car as you came into the car park looking for a space....
I am saddened and deeply hurt
to hear, when questioned, that you did not know of me when we have met and spoken couple of times at The Trafford Centre/Romper. 
Anyway, would just like to say hello
and tell you to turn up to more Romper days so I can refresh yer memory

Would have been doing the same if I could have got out of work on time (1pm) but some old fool rang me up to tell me he had seen somebody in a TVR today, and I felt I should exploit company's resources to start a thread

I did indeed meet your dad (seemed a very nice chap!) and when he told me his son was a TVR driver I asked if he went on PistonHeads. He didn't know, but told me your name, and you're right, I wasn't sure if we'd met. However, if he had said, "ricardinho" I would have known who he meant - I remember discussing Chimaeras with you in the Trafford Centre Car Park - ah, the joys of PH.
Sadly the Chimaera has now been sold to PHer CrazyLegs and I do believe he is planning on attending the Romper meets soon. Hopefully I will be able to tag along as a passenger, or at worst I'll turn up in the BMW.
Take care and with a bit of luck I can buy you a drink at the Christmas night out to tend your 'not remembered' wound.
