Decent bodyshop in North West

Hi, I'm looking for a top notch bodyshop. My experience of "manufacturer approved" places is poor.

I'm really not fussed if there is no courtesy car, no fancy reception etc, but if someone can take real time and care over my car to give it a top notch finish I'd be delighted.

Car is a 2008 Audi A6 Avant.

Any recommendations?

I'm in Chester. Happy to travel to manchester, Liverpool, warrington etc. Cumbria is out though!

Stuart at Autovation in Stockport is very good. He does a lot of work for main dealers, his attention to detail is great. Recommended. (No courtesy car)

I can recommended only one company and that is ROAD & RACE RESTORTIONS in Little Hulton Walkden. They are a Audi/Merc/VW and Porsche approved bodyshop. There work is the best I have come across and really nice people too.

That's interesting. That's the one place I have used and after their 3rd botched attempt I have given up hence looking for someone else! Agree they are really nice people though!
