I'm sure many here already know of this, but just on case;
The Wilmslow Motor Show is on 7th September and is pretty much all over the town centre. Last year was a really good day, and seemed to bring out more rare and unusual cars than are normally in the area.

Ginetta are bringing a G60, Mercedes are bringing AMG's amongst many others as well as a super car "paddock" (in reality a car park!). Lotus too. If you're free, I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Last year had two McLarens and obviously stuff from Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and Bentley.
There is also a Psiton heads beer tent. This is a lie, but the recently opened sports bar would be a great place to meet for a cold one!
