Can anyone recommend a trailer hire company, cheaper the better really as the car isn't worth much but I can't drive it back with it being SORN.

Even better if any PHers would be kind enough to lend/rent theirs this week?

Any help would be most appreciated!!

Whereabouts in the NW are you? There's a place in Stoke that does a car trailer for around £50 for a day, plus a tenner for the straps if you need them.

I could probably borrow a plant trailer, but I'm away until next week, and my old Disco will probably cost £50 just to get to Manchester and back, but I'll happily come and shift it for you if you want.

Might be quicker and cheaper to go to a local garage and ask them how much they'd charge to shift it for you.

Thanks for the offers guys, sadly Morcambe is too out of the way it'd be more economical to hire. Someone offered me an A frame but not sure it's a wise move.

All in all I have a car to pick up Saturday morn and not a clue how other than spending 75 quid on a trailer which plus diesel totally ruins the 'bargain' of the car. I know it sounds like I'm a cheap guy but money's tight!!

Ok, no worries. If you can't do it on Sat, I'll happily do it for the fuel cost only next week (I'm on LPG so it's not too bad). Where's it going from/to.
