We are moving house (all of 5mins drive) and so dont really want to incur the expenditure of a removals company.

We are leaving most of our furniture in the old house as its being rented out, so only really large items that need moving are the beds, sofa and American fridgefreezer.

I was therefore thinking it may be cheaper to get a man with a van to help out as we'd really need a van with a lift if we did it ourselves (Which cost around £100/day with a minimum 2 day hire)

Anyone any recommendations? We are located in Warrington.

Luton 3.5T with tail lift is £65 a day (24 Hrs)from Salford Van Hire - have you anyone like them on your patch? With a smaller co they might give you a better rate if you can return it the same day you borrow it.

I have a medium - large ( load area = 1.8m h x 1.7m w x 2.9m l ) van , it's not a tail lift though . It currently only gets used at night so it and a driver ( me ) are available most days . I'm in Lowton , drop me a PM if you don't get a better offer

+1

used them a few times now for this sort of thing. Tail lift was well worth the extra £5 or whatever it is
