Why's there an old Merc SLC in the Trafford Centre?

Because he loved his Mum or something along those lines. Gopping car. To match a gopping shopping centre...
Blasphemy! How dare you offend the cathedral of the religion of shopping and (men and women) poncing about with a fake tan, silly haircut, sillier eyebrows and ridiculous clothes?!In answer to the question, I wondered the same and the plaque alongside it says that it was the owner's mother's car. I'm not sure why he installed it there though.
A terrible place, but handy for an annual Christmas present hunt for non-www purchases.

Car and booring shopping aside its a great place for sitting on a bench and perving while your missus wonders round keeping herself entertained .
Whenever I go there (occasionally), it's a bit of a culture shock. I mostly see Barbie dolls wearing industrial quantities of make-up (and those weird eyebrows) and ridiculous-looking, orange, fashion victim blokes who appear to have spent hours in front of the mirror in preparation for visiting what is just a massive building full of clothes shops. At least it keeps them off the streets.

Was also thinking that.At least it keeps them off the streets.
it's like 'TOWIE' (whatever he is) - in one big building.
I honestly can't remember the last time I went though.
