Has anyone used detailing firms for paint correction in the Cheshire/Merseyside area? Preferably one who's proven with fibreglass cars, I need some light scratches taking out of my TVR but would rather go with a recommendation than just sticking a pin in the internet. Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Try these

http://www.griffithsdetailing.com/

I haven't used them myself but I know the owner of the Sagaris that is pictured on the site and he was very pleased with the job he did.

HTH.

edit: mention you got recommended by a member of PSCM, you might get a better price wink

As above. Chris has done a few cars for me and has been doing detailing for many years. Can work miracles.

That's a big help and so good to get a recommendation, especially one based on another TVR. Many thanks for the replies smile

Another vote for Chris at Griffiths Detailing. Done a great job on mine and plenty of others.
Pretty sure he has done TVR's before too.
He posts his work up on Detailing World so if you have a look on that forum you will see what calibre of cars he details.

Great guy too.

Thanks to all who have taken the trouble to reply, I spoke with Chris yesterday and I'll be using his expertise on my Chim though not until all the mechanical work is complete and the car won't be spending any more time in various workshops. Can't wait to see what he can achieve with the old girl's paint.
