Impromptu Blat - Sunday 29th July.

Following on from the other thread. Impromptu blat on Sunday morning, 9.45am start from Gawsworth Hall www.gawsworthhall.com (SK11 9RN) & finishing at Ashover Show Ground www.ashoverclassics.co.uk (S45 OBA), via Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth.

Bring a map and make sure you have a reasonable amount of fuel. Run should take roughly an hour.

Excellent day out, traffic free run to Ashover which took an hour via the back roads. The little show at Ashover was excellent, probably 350 cars on display ancient to modern but of a very high quality and everything from Bond Bugs to a Phantom III Rolls Royce, personal favourite was a delightfully patinated original Lotus 7. Bright sunshine until mid afternoon when there was quite a downpour, but not enough to warrant putting the hood up. You missed a good one!
