Does anyone around Mcr have an Atom?

Hope this isn't being cheeky...

I started a thread on the kit car forum a few weeks ago regarding my hunger for a "toy" car.

I used to own a Westfield (Cosworth Turbo) but sold it when our son was born. Now he is older, I fancy getting another vehicle that I can use solely for fun.

On the list is the usual suspects (Caterhams, Exiges, Nobles etc.) but the benchmark for me HAS to be the Atom. I have seen them at shows but never been in one. I presume I will like it, but without going in one, I am unsure.

There are a few up for sale on PH at the moment, but they are all private sales and I don't want to potentially waste others' time; I would rather be honest and upfront.

If anyone has an Atom that would kindly take me out in, I would really appreciate it. I am not a weirdo (honest!), I would not ask to drive (of course) and I would reimburse fuel costs for your efforts.

There was A1ec, he was over towards Liverpool but was very amenable when it came to giving passenger rides. He's not been on here in a long time though. Might be worth posting on http://forum.atomclub.com/

Also, why not give a couple of sellers a call and just be honest with them? I reckon most would be willing to take you out if you're serious about buying one.

As Jaik said, A1ec was Liverpool based and very approachable on all things Atom.
