Im trying to book wedding cars for my wedding next May.

Can anyone recommend any companies to try? Im after a Bentley Arnage or similar and a 7 seater for the bridesmaids MIL to be (but not a limo!).

Front runner so far that can supply both the cars is BK executive cars, based in Manchester, but I can't find any reviews for them! anyone on here used them?

thoughts? Am I doing the right thing splashing out on a 'prestige' car, when a nice merc would do?

She's left choosing the car to me. Im as much concerned about finding a reliable, reccommended company to use as much as I am about finding the right car!

Im sure she will prefer something modern and 'prestige' to a classic tho.

We had BK in Ashton-under-Lyne for our wedding four years ago. We had the Bentley Flying Spur as the main car and a Vito for the Mum, Bridesmaids etc. Everything went smoothly, turned up on time etc. Drivers well turned out. Let us choose the colour of ribbons. The only thing they couldn't do for us was hang around to have the car in some photos as they had another job straight after ours, which is understandable.

If you go to their premises, don't be put off. They are (or were) based in an old tyre fitting place and it all felt a bit seedy. They had a chalk board on the wall with a list of all the unmarked GMP cars they knew of!

Crosby classic bentleys are nice cars but they are mk6 and r type. Graham and jill eastwood are RREC members and have great pride in their cars. Nice trust worthy people

To me that's a little poor on customer service.

I have worked in the Wedding Industry for over 12 years and have businesses in 3 distinct areas of service.

When I contract a wedding I ensure I do so exclusively for THAT wedding on THAT day and no other!!

One Wedding, One Day.... squeezing multiple weddings into one day is a recipe for disaster and as outlined in the above post does not allow for any flexibility.

So what happens if they got a flat or held up in an accident or congestion? would they be late for TWO weddings instead of one?

The best planning in the world cannot foresee accidents or unforeseen mechanical failure or a thousand other things that might hold a car up.

I'd certainly ask any company if they multi-book the same day, at least then you'll know how flexible they are going to be. Not waiting for photo's after the ceremony leaves a gap in the wedding album in my view.

OP - it might be a test!!

she said she's leaving it up to you but has she mentioned at all, during any of the xxx years you have been together, even if it was no more than a 'i like that' when referring to a car.

you may not have even been with her but she will expect you to remember everything. including what shoes she was wearing, the air temp, and what was currently number one in the UK charts.

has she ever shown a liking to an 'unobtainable' car? - THINK MAN THINK!

i would suggest a trip to a hypnotist to try and recall ANY such event.
