Ormskirk Motorfest, Sunday 26th August.

Following on from last year's inaugral event, it's happening again. http://www.ormskirkmotorfest.com/index.html . I wasn't able to go last year as I was away, but the photographers that I used for the official photos said that it's a fantastic event. There's not many town's that close the roads in the UK for motorsport.

I am very sad with this non friendly Atom weather, i am not going to make it as its no fun in an Atom in the rain. Not many shows left now then the cold wet winter will be here again boo hoo hoo. Roll on christmas for my nice sunny warm holls to the Philippines. Hpe someone posts some pikies

Yep, same here mate........these cars with no windscreens, wipers,roofs etc. have been a bit of a pain this summer

Hi there kenny, there is a show on in lytham on sun 9th sep at fairhaven lake, usualy a good turn out and a good full english at tne cafe there. Why dont you bring the JPE if the weather is good, it could be one of the last shows of the year. No one there will know what a JPE is!!!

Jonathan Palmer Evolution ? not much of a recommendation, did he ever finish a race without crashing.
Sorry you guys didn't make today, it turned out to be an excellent event and the sunshine was out all afternoon from about 11am, fantastic turnout of cars and the Maclaren owner was a total star, took delivery of the car in June and I think everybody at the event must have sat in it at some point, including myself, the street parade was fun, said 8 laps did 3 but that was enough, and overall it was a very well run event, a BIG thankyou to the organisers and volounteers.
