Just thought i would let you know
Discussion
Hi... i'm new to the forums (after being enticed by the Macca F1 owners post that i heard about on another forum)
Also i really like the idea that there are regional forums... nice to let people know about things to see and drives to go on.
Anyways... if you guys love cars, then you gotta love the Enzo
I saw one in Manchester this weekend.
If any of you lot wanna see it it is in the new Ferrari showroom near Rusholme, on Mancunian way. Stratstone ferrari.. next to Drabble and Allen jaguar.
Anyways... i went to look at the rest of the cars and as soon as i walked in it was right in front of me. I couldn't see it from the road.
It is a customers car that is being "looked after" for a few weeks, and is usually covered up. But, because we know the Stratstone guys they took the covers off it for us, and we got a good look. They even opened the doors and bonnet etc, but we weren't allowed in it, understandably.
The reason they took the covers off for us is that we were getting our car serviced and we a quite friendly with the guys.
The showroom is brand new and they have just moved from Stratstone of Wilmslow's old premises in Whythenshaw. The showroom, and particularly the service area, is very impressive.
I suggest you pop down to have a look, it may be oyur only chance and i am sure that if you ask nicely enough they will remove the cover for you
Anyways... that was my first post... i llok forward to sticking around and becoming a PH'er

If only I were still at uni....would have made a de-tour to see the cars every day!
A salseman took me out in a 360 a few years ago when they were based in Wilmslow, top bloke. Cant remember his name though...
My dad bought his 360 from there
IMO that showroom was better... more space at the back for Formula Ferrari's (approved Used cars).
They had an F50, but when i saw it, the showroom was shut (11pm at night) and it was gone the next week. That was just when the 360 was released... we bought ours 18mths later

yea i saw that beauty, was there trying to locate a used 355.
There was one red 355, i don't know it's price, year or mileage though. It looked pretty smart, but next to a 360 it looks slightly dated... wouldn't mind one though, but it's up to my dad, and newer is better.
Did they uncover the Enzo for you, or did you just have to look at the covered shillouette?
