I'm needing this done and was thinking of using

You can always re-gas it yourself with kits from motor factors smile

Have used Heswall air con, with reasonable results. It takes approx 30 mins, they charge ~£60

I just used this guy based on a recommendation from another PHer - he's top notch, thoroughly professional and really knows his stuff. He's mobile and has all the gear on his van - he drained, pressure tested, re-oiled and re-pressurised my 1995 Alpina in about 45 minutes.

The Kwick Fit in Pensby (wirral) do re gas for £20-30 depending how much they have to put in, cheap as chips. I persume most kwick fit will do this??

Yep, even Kwik Fit can't get a regas wrong. They do before and after temperature readings IIRC, to show how effectively your money was spent smile
