Red Cat runs starting again ?
Discussion
I haven't run the Red Cat for over a year now. I did attempt to get people to take it on but wasn't successful. We've moved a bit south of where we use to live so it's not really worth me trundling north up the motorway to lead a run when I can head straight onto country roads nearby.
As I mentioned in the PM I don't think I have any of the info on the routes now as changed laptops a couple of times since, sorry.

As I was driving up after work from the junction of the M6/M56 it was a bit of a drive for me as well there are a number of nice pubs round hear. Thorn inn Appleton thorn, Stretton Fox Stretton, Hatton arms Hatton and The ring of bells Darsbury. a number of them allrady have meets i.e. The Caterhams meet at the ring of bells so that are car club frendly with sensible car parks.
So would people be interested an a meet that's a bit further south than the Red cat i.e. around M6/M56 junction? I know that there was a south Manchester meet but I have not seen any posts this year for that one.

I know the area around the Red Cat if anybody wants me to plot some route suggestions on a map.
I don't live near there now though and I prefer a more discrete approach to enjoying driving down the back lanes than a convoy
ps. A grey S2000 with Pistonheads and Oulton Park(?) sticker on the back joined the M60 just in front of me yesterday.

My mistake, it looked like the Oulton park map turned on its side.kirsty-s2k said:
When and where?
M60 Clockwise, ~07:30. You joined from the M62.Edited by MC Bodge on Friday 25th May 10:50
Why don't we have a meet somewhere between where Red Cat is and where Kirsty is now?
If we are just meeting for a natter then maybe a drive, the Mascrat Manor pub is excellent central location and nice big car park, plus being between M6/M62 and M6/M56 junctions it makes it within 30 mins drive of a hgue catchment area

The "south manchester" ones that caz organised were good, they were just south of Altrincham in Ashley.
I did organise a run before Easter from Lymm truck stop and that seemed to go down quite well. I will organise another one at some point, but doubt it will be a regular thing as i'm pretty busy and can't guarantee where i will be on any given day. i'll make the route a bit longer too as it only took about an hour last time.
don't forget to add any meets and runs to the event list at the top of the NW forum section

I'm happy to meek there if others are up for it. If we are just meeting for a natter then maybe a drive, the Mascrat Manor pub is excellent central location and nice big car park, plus being between M6/M62 and M6/M56 junctions it makes it within 30 mins drive of a hgue catchment area
