Sat 31st March - Three Sisters Endurance Karting
Discussion
We have a few places spare for the endurance race we've booked at the Three Sisters for Saturday 31st March at 2pm. If any one fancies joining us please let me know.
It's ten teams of four, plan is to draw names out the hat on the day as we've got a mix of car and non car folks . . it's our Hen/Stag do. If you've not been before it's a great introduction to the outdoor karts at Three Sisters, they're so much better than indoor karts. The track's great too with some proper racing/overtaking sections and some challenging series of corners.
So, if you fancy coming along it's £47.50 per person on first come (and paid cash), first served basis. There is a half hour practice time where all drivers should have a short blast to get to know the kart and the track, then the 2hr race starts where all teams must take the same number or pit stops/driver changes.
PM me if you want any further details.
Cheers
Kirsty

Not sure we'll manage to have our usual team, but it'll still be a great laugh!!
Not a chance you'll have your usual team.... You and Dave will be separated... all in the name of healthy Hen and Stag competition of course!Edited by sanguinary on Thursday 15th March 13:48
All the track configurations look good:

So the event will run rain or shine? Probably a bit more of a handful in the wet, either way not been Karting for years so I am really looking forward to this.

It's looking likely I'll actually be available on this day now, but with my broken toes I don't know whether I'll be fit for racing. If it feels like I'll be okay anytime soon I'll let you know in case there's still a spot available, but probably best to assume not.
If I'm not getting my kart on though, I may come down anyway for the banter and to laugh at how competitive you all may get

Ace news Jaik! Really hope your toes are better and we've got a space free still! If I'm not getting my kart on though, I may come down anyway for the banter and to laugh at how competitive you all may get
I've no idea why you'd think we'd be competitive!
