Hi peeps

I'm going to Manchester MEN Arena tomorrow evening.

Where is the best and closest place to park?

Also - can anyone recommend a nice restaurant within walking distance to eat?

Thanks in advance!

Depending on which way are are entering the city try the Premier Inn car park; just off Deansgate, a few minutes walk to the MEN.
Eating; cheap and good Moon Under The Water (Wetherspoons) - Deansgate. Bit more up market but excellent, San Carlos - behind Kendals but book your table!

Google maps is saying a 25 min wall from the MEN? Is that accurate?

I usually park across the road from the cathedral, 2 mins from the arena. Not sure about food but Deansgate's just a short walk.

Avoid all the cowboys with yellow jackets directing you on to any bits of waste land around the MEN when a big event is on. Always been a big problem in the area. They must be raking in a fortune.

There's a big multi-storey right next to it. I don't recall it being particularly expensive, even on event days, but it might get full close to the show opening time.
