As above really, are there any secure-ish (NCP is fine) carparks in Manchester City Centre that are low car friendly? (as near to the GMEX/Manchester Central as possible)

I'm going there in a few weeks time and I don't want to catch my front splitter on a steep multi-storey ramp.

Thanks in advance.

I parked the Evora under the Gmex in the NCP but not sure how much lower yours is? Safe and secure I felt.

I've parked all sorts at Shudehill (Lotus' TVR etc). You drive up to get in. Can usually find a spot on the ground floor and if not the gradients are gentle. Probably one of the newest NCPs in Manchester and a 5 minute stroll to where you need to be.

Thanks chaps. Will probably just go with the NCP then - looking at google maps, it doesn't look too bad.

I would concur with this suggestion.

Thanks. I don't know Manchester at all, but that looks like over a mile away from the GMEX?

IIRC the GMEX one is underground and whilst I dont think there are any ramps of any concern. I seem to remember the spaces being quite tight.

Yep its a good walk. Confused GMEX with MEN. Try this one:

Excellent. If I can get a ground floor space there, that would be perfect.

As said above, GMex underground or Great Northern. Great Northern isnt a problem for lowness (Is that a word?) but can be a bit tight in some places.

Definitely the Great Northern (head for the Beetham tower and you can't miss it.)

Didnt stay in the Midland as I didnt like the idea of being stuck in a room overlooking the tram thundering along. Stayed at the Radisson Edwardian. The rooms were very nice, breakfast was average.

Ha! I just like the building.

(I also learnt last week that it's where Mr Rolls first met Mr Royce.)
