This pm I picked up my 550 Barchetta. Thanks firstly to James at DK Eng for delivering it for me to the station and give me instruction on the car etc - great job!

The car was wonderful and I managed to drive it properly up the M40 while the weather held. The car was beautiful and sounded wonderful. James did fail in one respect, and that was to get me some nice gloves to fend off the cold, but I did not care frankly, the car was awesome. Around about Keele on the M6 the traffic started to slow and it started to rain. I then realised why the 11 year old car had only done 5000 miles!! I had to stop and put the roof on, that was NOT easy, and then I crawled up the motorway at 50 mph being flashed by lorries etc etc. Anyway, they are driving a lorry and I am driving a Ferrari - stuff em!!

car is now in the garage awaiting a good clean now it has hit the motorway, something for the wife to do this weekend - or maybe not, maybe I will do this clean job!!

Stunning! I thought the roof flipped over like the Renault Wind (sorry for the comparison, but I hope you know what I mean), and that it was just like any other hardtop convertible?

Regardless, lovely car....
