Picking up on a thread on "General" to which both Jessica and I responded .

There are far too many kids who have an interest in cars , who for various reasons will never have the chance to own or drive something "Special" .

What say we get together , not just the "Romper" crowd , but all NW PH'ers to offer our cars for just a few hours to make someones dream come true ?

Erm... When you say "Offer our cars" are you suggesting allowing young people to drive them? If so there is more chance of me joining T2000 and starting a new charity "Friends of David Begg" or "Free Richard Brunstrom".

......... for those of a sensible and kind hearted disposition , I am talking about children below driving age , not those of a "Chav" or "Reverse cap " situation

0-5 can't cope they need assistance with everything and ask stupid questions

5-11 They witter incessantly about things of which I know not. Their logic is so wacky I feel like an alien.

12-18 They want to argue but have not yet fully developed brains and get upset when they lose.

18 - 21 The run up to the age where drinking Vimto in my house might be allowed under strict supervision. Can come in handy with working your phone even though you have read the manual and they have never seeen that model before.

Well even for those below driving age that must mean about 90% of the little darlings....

However, as I am all heart, (well sometimes) if you can arrange some genuine deserving cases, and there is enough interest from other NW Pheader's, I will happily come along and offer a few rides in my Tiger supersix.......

So yes, I am up for it.......

You nicked my phone you little sod. It took me ages to sort it out so an old git like me can use it.

Have you seen what Vimto can do to a carpet / walls when spilled by a 6 year old at full tilt? Thats why its banned to the under 21's at my house.

Would it be worth someone contacting some local charities and letting them know the offer was open? Couldn't hurt the public perception of PHers...
