Need to get some tyres and don't want to pay through the nose.

Give D M Tyres a call, they are generally a lot cheaper than the likes of Event Tyres, ..... unfortunately they are on the East side just off Cheetham Hill Road. It is run by some Asian chaps, and they supply, fit and balance. It's a little bit like going back 40 years when you arrive there, ... don't expect any fancy fitting bay, but does it matter, it's the tyres you are paying for, not some fancy premises!! Bit out of town, but Rossendale Tyre and Exhaust centre on Bacup Road, Rawtenstall are very competitive in my experience, and very helpful, 25 mins from M/R town centre.
