Went past earlier, looks like a 997 rear-ended a truck. Didn't look to bad so hopefully everyone is ok.

M777 private plate which I'm sure I've seen before.

This was north bound just after Thelwall, no doubt caused by the last minute dive for an exit lane that seems to happen since the roadworks were put in place.

My other half was just ahead of that, didn't see the inital accident but saw the next vehicles hit them. Sounded pretty awful, hope folk are ok.

Yeah I'm guessing that's what I saw in my rear view mirror this morning. What must have been the 997 (could just tell it was something low and dark grey / black!) got turned around the front of another car in lane 2 (no idea how). Both cars hit the side of a lorry that was in the queue in lane one, the Porsche went head on into the side of it and bounced off into the air, looked like a fair old impact.

frown From what I could see there was a Fiesta also involved.

It's been a nightmare there since the roadworks reduced that slip-road to one lane. All the people that usually sneak off right at the end, now have to slam on because there's no lane for them to sneak in to.

I passed it on the Southbound side. Two lorries and a Fiesta involved, Fiesta was nosed into the rear wheels of the first trailer and the Porsche nosed into the 2nd trailers wheels. both were at 90 degree angles, I was trying to figure out how it had happened but couldn't see how they could have ended up in these positions ...

Another dreadful accident in the same place this morning. Five cars, a van absolutely smashed up, and I'm assuming a HGV left the road. Didn't look good at all.

It's been awful on that stretch since the roadworks went in place. Very poorly managed, and very poorly driven by most.

Hope everyone is ok.
