Looking for someone that specializes in Zetec engine rebuilds that are good n cheap as my 1.8 Ginetta G27 let go at Oulton yesterday, suggestions welcome please.

Is it even worth rebuilding? Unless there's something special about it, it'd proably be easier and cheaper to just fit another one - it's not like they're at all rare or anything.

Best to rebuild, fitting a used engine is like a lottery. At least then you'll have some peace of mind. Top end failed or has it got a leg out of bed ?

exactly, don't want to buy someone else's problem hence why i want a good rebuilder.

I'll second Blackburns, they are very very competent. #

You've done well to blow a zetec up. I have seen high milers with the head of and the bores looked new.

I may be able to help. The last Zetec I built ran in the Britcar 24hrs in our Ginetta G40 and its as solid as a rock. I can take your motor out, build it and put it back in properly for you no problem. My web site is www.piranhamotorsport.com for more information.
