Evening all.
Taking my son to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert tomorrow night at the MEN and wondered if anyone had any advice on parking?
I've never been to the MEN and despite living in the North West for the past 4 years I don't know Manchester at all, so any advice appreciated.

Plenty of parking on Dutton Street & Great Ducie St, which are the other side of the road from the MEN and 2 mins walk away from the entrance. It's normaly £5 and as safe as you're going to get in a city centre smile

^If thats the one with the chimney next to it then Id go for that to. Reckon you'd need to get there reasonably early though, bet it will fill up pretty quick.

Which way are you heading from? Can be hard work at the moment to get to the MEN. The olds struggled on a Sunday evening recently, even after I'd warned them about the reclaim the streets comedy that's going on near Salford Uni.

As has been said above, park in the old Boddingtons car park directly opposite MEN and avoid Chapel Street

I'm coming from Holmes Chapel so will either come down the M602 or perhaps the M56/A5103 Princess Road. Doors open at 6pm, show starts 7:30, so it's going to be a rush whichever way I go.
Thanks for the replies so far smile

I normally go M56/Princess parkway, and follow the ring road clockwise / left once you hit the A57M. You'll see hopefuls trying to wave you in to parking frikkin miles away from the place! Last time I went I parked on Salford Approach which was OK, about £5 IIRC.
