Hi all,
Have had nothing but trouble trying to get my car to drive in a straight line(!). Been to Sapphire garage off Oldham Rd twice so far for KDS style alignment, car still veering to the left a lot, its a 2004 M3 convertible. Can anyone recommend somewhere that will actually align my car properly rather than just resetting it to manufacturer's limits and charging me a small fortune for literally no improvement??

Try Darren Wood in Stockport or Ninemeister in Warrington. Both have experience of the M3, Darren Wood are a BMW specialist and Ninemeister are Porsche but are experienced with Geo settings on the M3

Are you sure that it's the suspension / steering setup? does the tyre wear indicate this, or could it be tramlining due to something else like odd tyres?

I SWEAR by these - its all they do. Many high brow porsche owners make the journey there too.

Not Manchester but Liverpool but worth the trip to get it done properly. They have two of the latest Hunter machines

Hi There

Bought my S Type R jaguar at 9k and it took me to 90k to stop the bloody thing pulling to the right including several visits to main dealers! These guys did it

North East Manchester - the Hunter machine that they have seems to be the best around

Good Luck

Guy

(It costs more than "Only £48" that I've just seen on the link I provided - but worth it)

hi guys,
Darren Wood are the guys who initially took it to Sapphire as they dont have their own rig, and charged me more for taking it, I could have just as easily nipped over to Oldham Rd myself! I'll try Drury Lane as they're closer. It just seems that people are too ready to just reset to manufacturers settings and throw the keys back, I need someone who will adjust, check and re-adjust as necessary, and am quite happy to pay for this service! The tyres are fine and I even had them all rebalanced to make sure no other issues were present.

In that case try Phoenix Motorsport in Accrington then. Very very clued up on all things suspension related and highly regarded by Lotus owners. Would have suggested this first but thought you needed somewhere local smile
