Help with projects?

OK, this may be a bit of a strange thought but I'm wondering if anyone in the North West has a project which they would like a bit of help with? (Free of charge of course)

Having recently moved to the North West I find myself bored a lot of evenings and weekends. Similar to everyone on Piston Heads I have a great love for all things automotive and would love to get my hands dirty helping out with any sort of project. Be it Golf or Ferrari, I don't mind.

So, my question is this, is there any interesting project lying in a garage in the North West that could do with an extra pair of hands to get up and running?

I'm based in Leigh at the moment and am willing to travel anywhere within a reasonable distance. (Anywhere less than an hour really)

I usually don't mind having an extra pair of hands or offering mine to people if they need but I think formby is the closest member on here to me over in Southport!
