Without going into detail (will do that later!), I’m looking to take action against a 3rd party and looking for recommendations of a decent civil litigation solicitor in the Chester or Liverpool area smile

If you set out the rough area of the dispute (eg landlord/tenant) and roughly how much is in dispute then I will do my best to recommend someone

Andrew - Sorry to go off-topic but has the Chang-Noi closed? Driven passed it during the day a couple of times in the last few days and it's all shut-up with the curtains closed.

Hi Charlie, looks like it has either shut down or is being refurbed, which would be a great pitty as the food, service etc was good frown

Hope it's just a refurb as they're our favourite take away.

The Chang Noi has finished I am sorry to tell you.

The owners/ brewery (not sure who) wanted to put up the rent to £6000 per month !! and the Thai people could not afford this, so they had to pull out.

They have now moved to somewhere in the Warrington area, so its Warrington's gain and Chester's loss.

£6k per month! Not surprised they moved some where cheaper. Where have they moved to in Warrington?

It's a disgrace--they had a thriving scene going and the food was excellent.

Not sure where exactly they have gone, they just said they had found somewhere in the warrington area..It was my wife who spoke to them, as we were regular customers.

They did say they would have preferred to stay in the Chester area, but couldn't find any other pub willing to partner with them.

Andrew,

Sorry but the Sols I know who do this work just would not be able to help in a dispute of this value - I would probably suggest that you set out in writing the exact facts of the dispute with all docs attached and then try and find a local high street solicitor who can help. Remember that the more you do and the easier you make the dispute to understand with all documents provided at the outset the smaller the bill will be.

Good luck
