The best laugh I had in ages was the other day when Ding described her plot in camping Houxe Le Mans. It is years since my last sortie to the land of the squat and push lavatories and the queue and fight showers and in true concieted Nonegreen style I believed I had been there, done that, and seen it all. Apparently according to some people on the Ferry Le Mans has now become a lot more corporate and plots are indeed staked out. I consider this a serious improvement / great loss to humanity and sincerely hope you have a great time See you all Friday at Mulsanne.

I shared a plot at Houx with Ding - well we were 'sharing' the griff so it seemed to make sense.

The toilets were the long drop variety but were kept in fairly good order - though if you wanted a shower in the morning you had a bit of a wait on your hands.

It probably helped that we were with the TVRCC who provided some comforts from their truck (the free bubbly/beer/burgers/satellite were much appreciated) and having the TVR team + Mr P.W. after the race was a nice touch too.

All in all not a bad camp - apart from the blasted dust!

Mind you did you see how much luggage I needed?
check Pikey's photos!
Apparently I needed an artic!
splendid picture of Griffy (prior to the dust bath!).

Looked out for you (Nonegreen), but afraid that in with all those other Porkers it was a tad impossible.
Yes we were on the Mulsanne on Friday.

Met lots of people and even shared our huge plot with the TVRCC for the burger and beer event.
Out two tiny tents only occupied a small corner.

We tooled up and down Mulsanne on Friday and stopped for a while. Met a few Phers just before they departed for lunch shame I missed you, glad the campsite was calmer than in previous years. Mind you if it was really dusty that was probabaly due to the extra space enabling higher speeds. Whenever I stayed there once the Dutch and the cheapskates arrived no one could get in or out much less make dust.
