Been there before.

Was a decent evening. Went about 2004 or 2005 i think. Decent evening as i say, but quite a lot of waiting round and rather chilly by 10pm or so when it's all over.

Apparently the worlds most powerful motorsport!

Yep a lot of fuel got burnt there today Sider!

We had to leave early unfortunately so didn't see the 9000bhp stuff running but saw a 3000bhp one (the meth V12 one in the pics), the noise was the most incredible thing Ive heard bar a top fuel dragster.

I go to this every year as it's only down the road from where i live. It's always better on the saturday night as the flames pouring out the exhausts look more spectacular in the dark

Did anyone else go on satuday? twas a bloody good evening and it was nice to see 'snoopy' one of the local tractors pull the furthest of the night.

I went to this yesterday, first time to any Tractor Pull and had little idea what to expect. I have to say it was a far better day than the F1 in Manchester today (made bad by our decision to go in the VIP Fanzone first, achieving nothing but a lot of queueing and missing out on a space to actually see any cars driving)!

Some awesome noise as mentioned already. Difference between this and top fuel drag cars is these move much slower, so are assaulting your ear drums for some time as they crawl past.
